Abstract

1302220 Electronic watches SUWA SEIKOSHA KK 24 Sept 1970 [25 Sept 1969] 45602/70 Heading G3T The description is substantially the same as that of Specification 1302219 but the claims are directed to a timepiece comprising an electric stepping motor the rotor 7 Fig.2 of which drives a seconds wheel 9 stepwise, the rotor shaft having an indexing member thereon, and means for adjusting the angular position of the indexing member i.e. cam 19, so as to adjust the rotor and hence the seconds hand to a predetermined position. When a control stem 13 is pulled outwardly it disengages a lever 12 portion 12B from an end 14B of a lever 14 thus allowing a spring 16 to rotate the lever 14 an end 14B engaging a cam lobe 19' of the three lobed indexing cam 19, which is thereby rotated together with the sixpole rotor 7 which carries the cam 19. Thereby the seconds hand is set to an angular position corresponding to an exact whole number of seconds on a seconds scale.
