1298744 Paper making apparatus J M VOITH GmbH 15 Jan 1970 [8 Feb 1969] 2029/ 70 Heading D2A A reinforced fibrous web-forming machine comprises at least two adjacent fibre stock outlets 4, 7 each having a lip for association with an adjacent wire 12, at least one of the lips (other than the last in the direction of movement of the wire) being arranged for guiding a reinforcing insert 17 into the fibres in the stock outflow and for guiding the insert beneath surface of the stock. The lips can be adjustable. The insert can be an endless thread or strip of woven or non-woven fibres.
