129,867. Wilkie, G. M. Sept. 18, 1918. Annular wheels.-The vehicle axle c is supported by one or more anti-friction slippers b having rubbing contact with the inner periphery a' of the rim a. The slipper is formed with a recess b<2> to which oil, steam, compressed air, or other pressure-fluid is supplied, such fluid escaping (as through valves b<2>) to form an antifriction film between the rubbing surfaces of the slipper and the rim. Additional supporting rollers d<4> and a driving-pinion d may be fitted as shown.
