Abstract

1298417 Break spinning; liquid treatment VYZKUMNY USTAV BAVLNARSKY 25 Nov 1970 [9 March 1970] 56035/70 Headings DID and D1F In a break spinning machine liquid is fed from a magazine 31 via a dosing device 30 to the spinning surface 11 of the spinning chamber 5. The liquid is sucked in by the underpressure generated by the spinning ventilating ducts 13. The liquid is admitted via the yarn delivery duct 22 and may comprise a treatment fluid e.g. dyeing agent, sizing agent or antistatic agent. The liquid level is determined by relief openings 14 (see also Fig. 2, not shown) which open into ducts 13 or outwards through the chamber wall. Liquid delivery may be pulsed or continuous.
