Abstract

129,736. Cooper, J. D., (Representative of Cooper, B. G.). Dec. 14. 1917. Cases, clock; illuminating, means for.-A clock pressure gauge, speed indicator, or the like 1 is put in an outer case 3 large enough to leave an annular space between them, and light from a lamp 4 at the back is directed to the front and cast upon the graduated margin of the dial 2 by two annular mirrors 5, 6. A unique reading as 12 o'clock is conspicuously indicated by letting a pencil of light pass through a hole 13 in the front mirror and strike a glass bead 14 in the bezel 8 holding the glass front 7 of the outer case. The bezel and front mirror can be turned together to set the hole and bead to any reading.
