205,668. Verschoyle, W. D., and Tallack, H. T. Oct. 4, 1922. Sigh ting-clinometers. - A bar A, having its ends bent at right-angles and provided with a sight opening B and cross-wires C, is pivoted on a centre-piece D carrying a graduated disc E fitted with a bevel G of which the bubble is viewed by reflection from a prism I carried by the bar A and through a central hole in the centre-piece D and the graduations are read by use of a vernier or index carried by the bar A. The level G is enclosed in a casing H formed with a central hole to admit light to the bubble.
