1295211 Hull form SASEBO HEAVY INDUSTRIES CO Ltd 8 April 1971 9071/71 Heading B7A In a ship hull the bilge of the bow portion and/or the stern portion has the same curvature as the bilge of the parallel hull portion 10, the hull being formed in the vertical direction by vertical surfaces and in the longitudinal direction by plane and/or primary curved surfaces. In embodiments such as that of Figs. 5A and 5B the hull also has a bulbous bow 16 which includes curvatures of radius R equal to that of the bilge in the parallel hull portion.
