Abstract

1416560 Boat hulls E MOLINARI 17 July 1973 [16 March 1973] 33888/73 Heading B7A The bottom 1 is formed with laterally spaced grooves 2 on each side of the keel, each groove being defined by a pair of oppositely inclined surfaces of unequal width as shown. As seen in transverse cross-section, the surfaces are rectilinear and the further the vertices of the ridges A are from the keel, the more they are spaced below a transverse line 3 bounding the wider surface of the pair of surfaces nearest the keel. The bottom may have two, or more than three ridges A on each side of the keel.
