Abstract

1,218,688. Hull form. L. MITTON. 20 Sept., 1969, No. 46438/69. Heading B7A. In a power boat hull having two identical side sub-hulls 5, 6 and a central sub-hull 7 symmetrically between and in juxtaposition with them, the bottom of the central sub-hull has a rearwardly facing step 24 which is nearer the forethan the after-end of the hull. The angle of convergence of the bottom surfaces of the central sub-hull of the embodiment shown is greater rearwardly of the step than forewardly. The step may also be of symmetrical V-form in plan.
