Abstract

1291942 Protecting buildings T A CUNNINGHAM-BOOTHE 5 Feb 1970 5464/70 Heading E1A A building 10 is protected e.g. during erection, by an enclosure made up from sheets of P.V.C. attached to supports 12 erected around the building. For securing adjacent sheets, the outer edges of each sheet are provided with securing means in the form of self adhesive material incorporating hooks or loops (H, L, Fig. 5). The roofing sheet 13 however is connected to side sheets 14 by means of a securing strip 17 formed with locating apertures for supports 12, the edges of the strip being also formed with hooks or loops. Ducts 26 convey air into the interior and water is drained from the roof via tubes 25.
