Abstract

129,177. Petters, Ltd., and Dellow, R. G. Sept. 30, 1918. Shades.-A screen 10 of coloured glass or the like for use with acetylene blowpipe burners is mounted so as to be easily adjustable and quickly attached to the blowpipe. A spring clip 2 fits on the blowpipe and the screen 10, which may be slid longitudinally along or rotated in a frame holder 7, is clamped by a screw 14. The screen may be further adjusted by a ball-and-socket joint clamped by a screw 8. The spring clip 2 may be replaced by a screwed attachment.
