Abstract
1290526 Supports for dental apparatus J M BARKER 1 July 1970 [1 July 1969] 33177/69 Heading ASR Apparatus for controlling and supporting a plurality of dental handpieces, not shown, comprises a plurality of "U"-shaped elements 19 to removably locate the said hand pieces, secured to a bar 18, and a control box, not shown, for the control and operation of the handpieces, the box being situated remote from the elements, the latter being movable independently of the control box. As shown, the bar 18 is fitted to a further bar 17 adjustably mounted in a 1ug 16a of a collar 16 which collar is secured to and rotatable with, a shaft 14 supporting a tray 12, which may also be adjustably mounted at one end of the shaft 14, which shaft is rotatably and removably mounted in a lug 11b' of a articulated arm unit 11. A further lug 11a' of this unit is rotatably attached around a further shaft 13 which may be secured to the floor or a fixed structure. The elements 19 may be formed as recesses in a bar or body, the recesses being open to the front and the body being adapted to accommodate an air like or power cable.
