Abstract

1289503 Boilers SVENSKA JARNVAGSVERKSTADERNA AB 19 Sept 1969 [19 Sept 1968] 46287/69 Heading F4A In a boiler which comprises a convection heated part 2 receiving liquid, e.g. water, through a return pipe 3 and supplying liquid to a jacket of a firebore part 1 through a pipe 9, a water mixing device 14, 4 is provided together with valve means controlled by a motor 5 to regulate the flow of return liquid through the pipe 3 and a by-pass pipe 8, so that the temperature of liquid in the convection part 2 is held at a desired level. The mixing device comprises an open bottomed chamber 4 and a screen 14 over which water flows to mix with water leaving the chamber 4. A temperature transmitter 6 controls the motor 5 whose associated valves may be located in the line 3 or 8. Thermostats 10, 11, 12, 13 control an oil burner (not shown).
