Abstract

1289363 Panels J A THIBERT 22 Dec 1969 [3 Jan 1969] 62378/69 Heading E1W A wall structure is formed of elongated panels 16 with an L-section flange 18, 22 along one long edge and a Z-section flange 20, 26, 28 along the opposite edge. Two such panels are fixed back to back with like flanges aligned by means of a T-shaped block (64) Fig. 6 (not shown) and U-shaped clips (56) Fig. 5 (not shown). The composite double skinned panel may be lined with insulating material and mounted either horizontally or vertically with the projecting L- and Z-section flanges interengaging. A channel section member (58) Fig. 6 (not shown) engages over the abutting Z-section flanges on the inside of the composite panel and is secured by screws to the T-shaped blocks.
