Abstract
1288257 Boilers H VIESSMANN 16 Oct 1969 [24 Oct 1968] 50915/69 Heading F4A A boiler which comprises a housing 1 with flow and return connections 11, 12, and a heat source 3 in a primary water space 8, is provided with a duct and a pump to transfer water from the upper part of the housing 1 to the bottom part thereof to heat secondary domestic water in a heat exchanger 7. As shown, the boiler has a duct 9 and a pump 10 and is heated by a combustion chamber 3 fired by an oil or gas burner 5 and provided with heating gas flues 4. The heat source may be an electric heater or the boiler may be heated by electrical resistor elements. The heat exchanger 7 may be a storage tank as shown and/or a continuous flow heat exchanger and has a thermostat to control the pump 10 so as to regulate the temperature of the secondary water.
