1287647 Lubricants STAUFFER CHEMICAL CO 10 Aug 1970 [12 Aug 1969] 38428/70 Heading C5F Lubricants comprise a synthetic ester base stock and (i) one or more branched chain alkyl phosphonates and/or halogenated alkyl phosphates (ii) sulphurized oleic acid and (iii) sebacic acid. Di- and tri-ester bases are exemplified together with pentaerythritol monobutyrate triheptanoate cross-linked with azelaic acid. The lubricant may also contain phenyl-α-naphthylamine, p,p<SP>1</SP>-dioctyldiphenylamine, tricresyl phosphate, polymethacrylate, and benzotriazole.
