1286990 Switchgear structures VYZKUMNY A VYVOJOVY USTAV ELECTRICKYCH PRISTROJU A ROZVADECU 15 Oct 1969 50693/69 Heading H1N A three phase isolator comprises an insulating base with three projecting tubular guides and three insulating case switching units 9 inserted into the guides. Each switching unit plugs into connectors 3, 4 attached to cable 8 and has an actuating shaft 15 carrying two angularly offset cranks, one (13) (Fig. 5, not shown) inside the case and coupled to a bridging contact, and one 14 outside carrying a pin 20. Once wall of the guides is thicker and is formed with a straight slot 201 extended by an arcuate slot 202 and with a passage receiving a common actuating slide 5. When the units 9 are inserted the pins 20 slide along slots 201 into slots 501 in the slide 5. Upward movement of the slide by an actuator 7 or handle 21 moves the contacts to the closed position; pins 20 slide along the slots 202 and the units cannot therefore be withdrawn while the contacts are closed.
