Abstract

1286850 Shearing SIEMAG SIEGENER MASCHINENBAU GmbH 9 Sept 1969 44554/69 Heading B3W Circular blade shears 2 have feed roller pairs 10 and 11 located upstream and downstream respectively of the blades 8, 9. The lower feed rollers 10a, 11a form part of feed and delivery roller tables respectively and are of greater length than the upper rollers 10b, 11b which are carried by pivotally-mounted, spring- loaded arms (not shown). The blades 8, 9 are mounted in a housing 5 slidable transversely to the feed direction. The rollers may be driven synchronously with the blades and there may be two roller pairs upstream and/or downstream of the shears. Edge guides 3a, 4a are provided.
