Abstract

1286212 Baby bouncers R NASH 6 June 1970 27464/70 Addition to 1015096 Heading A6M The cross bar 32 of a baby bouncer having a harness 26 suspended from said crossbar 32 of a frame 9 by means of resilient suspenders 29 is provided with brackets 34 at each end, the brackets having socket members 50 into which legs 33 may be pushed, the legs being retained in the sockets by means of a friction member 54. The friction member 54 may be a hollow cylindrical element of natural or synthetic rubber which is located in transverse apertures in the legs 33 so as to project on diametrically opposite sides. The element 54 may be a close or loose fit in the apertures, and in the latter case the element is retained in place by means of a nail or staple driven transversely into the leg and extending through the element. The crossbar is secured in the brackets 34 by being located in further socket members 50 and a screw being driven transversely through the socket member 50 and into the crossbar 32. Alternatively the socket 50 and crossbar 32 may be glued together.
