A section rail 1 is supported from a structural member by means comprising a clip 4 having opposed marginal portions separated by an intermediate portion said marginal portions being divided into parts intermediate their length by pairs of opposed slots 5, said parts being disposed in planes parallel to the intermediate portion so as to support co-planar flanges 6 of the rail received in said slots. The clip indicated at 24 embodies one pair of opposed slots 5 engaging the flanges 26 of a rail, connection between this clip and the rail 1 being effected through a flange 27.
