Abstract

128,527. British Thomson - Houston Co., (General Electric Co.). March 15, 1919. Master control systems.-A motor circuit is controlled by a number of electro-magnetically operated contactors in series, and a condenser is so arranged with respect to the control circuit containing the master switch 9 as to effect the simultaneous opening of the contactors when the master switch is opened. As shown in Fig. 1, the condanser 11 is connected across the terminals of the master switch, and the contactor windings may be arranged in parallel or in series. In a modification, the condenser is connected across the contactor windings.
