Abstract

1283761 Tanks with floating roofs R BEL LELI, A BELLELI and R BELLELI [trading as COSTRUZIONI MECCANICHE R BEL LELI SAS DI RODOLFO BELLELI & CO] 3 Sept 1969 [4 Sept 1968] 43676/69 Heading EIT In a tank of the floating roof type comprising a sheet-like roofing member connected at its periphery to a pontoon 2 and to at least one intermediate, annular caisson member 4 arranged concentric with the pontoon 2, the member 4 separates the drainage area of the roof into two zones arranged on either side thereof. The water drains into wells 13, 14 connected to flexible discharge tubes 16, 17 respectively, as shown. For minor drainage details, adjustable guide feet for the floating roof, stiffening elements therefor &c the Specification and remaining drawings (not shown) should be referred to.
