1282532 Caps for containers ALUMINIUM CO OF AMERICA 3 June 1970 [11 June 1969] 26850/70 Heading B8T A closure comprises a dished cap 8 held in place by a frangible ring 6, which has a ring pull tab 16 and weakened tear-lines 20, 22, 24. The frangible ring is preferably metallic and has notches 60, 62 which facilitate the opening-out of the ring during removal. The cap 8 may be metallic with a sealing gasket 52, or may be made from a self-sealing plastics material.
