128,247. Paban, J. June 30, 1916, [Convention date]. Projectile fuses.-Relates to fuses for hand-grenades and the like of the kind in which a Bickford or like cord is used, and consists in forming the tube through which the cord passes from the igniter to the detonator by casting it, as shown, directly around the cord. The tube is made of lead or other suitable, material. By this means, passage of the combustion gases between the fuse-cord and the surrounding tube, and blowing-cut of the cord, are prevented.
