Abstract
1281927 Drying cabinets DELLA ROSSA SAS 5 Aug 1969 [7 Aug 1968] 39081/69 Heading F4G In a clothes or linen drying cabinet, closed cycle circulation of hot air is produced by a thermo fan device 7a, 7b situated outside the drying chamber, and with holes or slits 13 arranged to discharge part of the damp air and to take in fresh dryer air, which is drawn in by the fan and mixed with the re-circulation air to decrease its humidity. The thermo fan device comprising a turbofan and heating elements is placed on the top of a vertical duct 7 inside a second chamber adjacent to the drying chamber and communicating thereby with upper apertures 8 and lower outlets 11 to obtain hot air re-circulation in the drying chamber. The air duct has a subsidary opening for the intake of fresh air. The hot air blown into the drying chamber is deflected down onto the supports 12 for damp articles by two inclined baffle plates 9, and 10. The cabinet is mounted on wheels and has an internal drying chamber with a false bottom wall 14 inclining towards a water discharge hole, 15 leading to an extractable container 16. The cabinet cover has its front edge shaped at an angular bevel to serve as a handle.
