Abstract
1281793 Separating particles from gas stream BRITISH-AMERICAN TOBACCO CO Ltd 4 May 1971 [15 June 1970] 12930/71 Heading BIT [Also in Division F4] In a tobacco drier (Division F4) some of the air in which the tobacco is conveyed is bled off from ducts which interconnect a series of drying chambers by valves connected to the inside surfaces of curved portions of the ducts, the tobacco being kept against the outer surfaces of the curved portions by centrifugal forces.
