1280353 Inflatable boats D V EDWARDS 2 June 1970 [2 June 1969] 27765/69 Heading B7A An inflatable boat has side tubes 10 interconnected by a flexible floor 15 and three inflatable thwarts 12, 13, 14; a non-inflatable flexible stern 20; and an integral re-inforcing member which provides a rigid transom 21, and hinged curved floor sections 16, 17 which tuck into pockets in the boat fabric. Skegs (26) may be formed on the edges of sections 16, 17. A bow dodger 19 interconnects the forward ends of the tubes, but according to a modification (not shown) the sides and bow are constituted by a U tube with overhanging tail cones at the stern.
