1276716 Reservoir pen nibs T FUNAHASHI 26 Nov 1969 [19 July 1969] 57959/69 Heading B6P A reservoir pen nib 6 comprises a plurality of elongate core elements 1 of gear-shaped crosssection, each with a central bore 2 of 0À1 mm. diameter, sheathed with a coating 4 and provided with a machined conical writing point (7, Fig. 1). The rear of the nib may also be conical to assist the flow of ink from a reservoir, along the passages 5 and bores 2, to the point (7). Suitable materials for the cores 1 and coating 4 are polyacetal resin, polyamide resin, polypropylene resin or polyethylene resin. Each core has an outer diameter of preferably 0À4 mm. and an inner diameter of preferably 0À3 mm and from eight to ten ridges.
