KNECHT 27 July 1970 36352/70 Heading H2F A voltage-multiplying rectifier comprises three-phase input terminals 30a, 30b, 30c and output terminals 40, 42 interconnected by circuits substantially as shown comprising capacitors 46, 48 and diodes 44, 50, 52, 54 Fig. 1 (not shown) relates to a known singlephase rectifier comprising diodes in opposite arms of a bridge with capacitors in the remaining arms and which produces a rectified output the peak value of which is equal to three times that of the input but having a ripple equal to the peak-peak value of the input.
