1276181 Rotary pumps or motors CONCENTRIC PUMPS Ltd 2 April 1970 [10 Jan 1969) 1503/69 Heading F1F In a rotary pump or motor, as shown, of the internally meshing n and n + 1 lobed type, the two rotors 16, 17 are formed of sintered metal in two (or more) parts 24, 26, and 27, 28 respectively, of unequal length, the longer part 24 of the inner rotor being keyed to a drive-shaft 12. The two parts of the outer rotor 17 are assembled in reverse order to those of the inner rotor 16 so that the rotor part 24 transmits drive to both parts 27, 28 of the outer rotor 17 the part 27 transmitting drive to the part 26 of the inner rotor 16.
