Abstract
1275787 Inductors DRAKE TRANSFORMERS Ltd 4 Sept 1970 [4 Sept 1969] 43836/69 Heading H1T A ferromagnetic disc A of varying thickness is rotatable in the air gap F of a magnetic core C to vary its reluctance; the thickness variation may continue through a 270 degrees sector. The inductances of coils D, E is thereby varied. They may form part of an oscillator of variable frequency, one limb of a bridge or of an impedance voltage divider. Two or more devices as shown may be operated from a common shaft.
