Abstract

1275470 Silencing gaseous flow DANFOSS A S 18 Sept 1969 [8 Oct 1968] 46064/69 Heading F1B A motor-driven compressor silencer, e.g. for a refrigerator, comprises a pair of cup-shaped elements 1 and 3 and a dished element 2 which define a pair of chambers 12 and 13 connected by a throttling passage 7. The element 2 is movable in the element 1 and the element 1 movable in the element 3 to vary the volume of the chambers 12 and 13. The elements 1, 2, 3 and the plate 4 defining the throttling passage are soldered together. An inlet tube 5 extends into the chamber 12 and an outlet tube 6 into the chamber 13.
