Abstract

1,274,705. Electro-photography. OWENS - ILLINOIS Inc. July 18, 1969 [July 19, 1968], No. 36305/69. Heading G2H. A photo-conductive member 10 having a surface layer which exhibits persistent internal polarization is situated between electrodes 12 and 14 of reversible polarity and is exposed first to uniform radiation and then to imagewise radiation through the electrode 14 which is in the form of a flexible wire mesh which transmits 60-90% of the radiation to which it is exposed and is removable for development of the image. Exposure may be to visible, UV, IR or X-ray radiation.
