In a gas burner for industrial furnaces, an outer tube 1 supplies combustion air and an inner-tube 3 supplies fuel gas, a front element 7 forming annular spaces 9 and 8 respectively with said tubes. The front element 7 and inner tube 3 may taper as shown in the lower half of the figure or be substantially cylindrical as in the upper half.
