Abstract

Burner consists of a refractory brick which may be incorporated in furnace wall and has at least one venturi-shaped passage passing through it. At one end these passages open into furnace and contain plugs of refractory, pref. steatite, through which numerous cylindrical passages of small cross-section pass. At other end the venturi passages have gas injectors with axial orifices.
