Abstract

1,274,243. Capacitors. ETABS EMILE HAEFELY S.A. 15 May, 1969 [17 May, 1968], No. 24766/69. Heading H1M. In a low inductance wound capacitor, strip connecting members 29, 30, Fig. 2, separated by insulation 31, 32, are wound in the capacitor coil to project at both ends. Each member may consist of two or more strips interleaved with the electrode foil or foils. Several such connecting groups may be provided across the width of a flattened capacitor coil. Capacitors may be stacked and the connecting members interconnected in series at each end of the stack. Alternate capacitors may be disposed at right angles, Fig. 9, so that series connections are provided on all four faces of the stack, with return connections 70 separated by insulation 71.
