Abstract

1,272,684. Latch fastenings. INTERNATIONAL STANDARD ELECTRIC CORP. 11 Sept., 1969 [13 Sept., 1968], No. 44939/69. Heading E2A. Detachable connector, includes a first and second connector member and a latch member 10 of a resilient plastics material and having flat parallel sides, said latch member consisting of a loop having a projecting portion 13, a depressable operating portion 14 and a spring portion 15, said first connector member having a slot 17 locating said latch member, said second connector member having a recess 23 in which said projecting portion can engage, there being an opening 25 in the outer surface of said first connector member through which part of said depressable operating portion protrudes, in which, when said first and second members are mated together, said projecting portion engages said recess in said second connector member, and in which, when said operating portion is depressed, said projecting portion is thereby released from said recess in said second member permitting said connector members to be separated.
