A pressure vessel, 1 for discharging liquids by gaseous pressure from container 3 having an outer case 9 and an inner liner 13, comprising a fluid tight detachable lid provided with an inlet for introducing pressurized gas and an outlet for discharge of liquid from which a dip tube 15 depends, the vessel having a concave base 5, has a platform 7 to support the container above the base 5. The platform is arranged below the uppermost points of the concave surface of the base 5 of the vessel 1. The platform 7 may be a plate or a plurality of rods or a grille.
