Abstract

1,267,381. Boat trailers. LEW-WAYS Ltd. 3 April, 1970 [3 Jan., 1969; 25 Jan., 1969], Nos. 524/69 and 4333/69. Heading B7B. A boat trailer has pairs of boat supports 13 in the form of pneumatically inflatable rotatable members. The supports may be pneumatic tyred wheels or may be moulded from plastics and each comprise an inflatable portion surrounding a hub portion mounted on an axle for rotation. A cross-member 4 has a pair of sockets 10 at either side of a central spine 1 to receive tubes 11 to accommodate boats of different size. The keel of the boat is supported by solid wheels 4 and a roller 15.
