Abstract

A building construction comprises apertured concrete slabs 13, girt armature support elements 20 connected thereto by tubular conhectors 21 passing through aligned apertures, a ceiling or floor element 22 and reinforced cast in situ concrete 30 filling the cavities in the slabs and forming a ring armature reinforcement about the building. For external wall the armature support elements are L shaped or U-shaped with one leg 20c shorter than the other 20a. For interior walls they are flat or U-shaped with equal legs. Upper walls are positioned by members 27 having a plurality of conical projections corresponding to the cavities. The slab may include window or door openings.
