Abstract

1,260,923. Telecentric lenses. SZERSZAMGEPIPARI MUVEK. March 18, 1969, No. 14275/69. Heading G2J. A small distortion telecentric lens system of variable magnification comprises lens members 2 and 3 having an overall convergent lens action, an aperture diaphragm 4 at the focus F of the lens members, an achromatic divergent lens 5 and an achromatic convergent lens 6, the image of an object 1 being formed at 7. The positions of the divergent and convergent lenses may be interchanged to vary magnification Fig.2 (not shown), without greatly altering the distance from the object to the lens 2. The small distortion results from the focal length of lens 6 being greater than that of lens 5, and the distance between the principal planes of these lenses being greater than that between the focus F and the principal plane of lens 5.
