Abstract

1,214,265. Microscope Objectives. CARL ZEISS-STIFTUNG [Trading as CARL ZEISS] March 24, 1969 [April 5, 1968], No.15284/69. Heading G2J. A surgical microscope, of the type wherein an objective lens forms an image of an object by forming a parallel path of rays which are focused at an image plane by a tube lens, is provided with a teleobjective lens 2<SP>1</SP> positionable in the focation of, and in replacement of, the objective lens, said teleobjective lens having a greater focal length than said objective lens and enlarging the field of view of the object without increasing the length of the instrument from the object plane to the image plane.
