A folder having a spine 3 and covers 2 supporting stacks 8 of notepaper is completely enveloped in a plastics wrap 9 which is secured along a dotted line 10 to an insert 6 which covers the spine 3 and partially underlies the stacks 8. The plastics wrap may be polyethylene or PVC, may be heat shrinkable, and may be secured to the insert 6 by stitching, stapling, bonding or welding. The wrap may be formed by folding a film to form a tube, inserting the folder into the tube, and then sealing the end of the tube, or by placing the folder between two sheets and sealing the sheets together. The film is then heat-shrunk. Alternatively, non-heatshrinking material may be used, in which case the wrapping material is cut to size.
