Abstract

1,260,137. Cathode-ray tube circuits. MULLARD Ltd. 28 March, 1969 [31 May, 1968], No. 26168/68. Addition to 1,081,676. Heading H4T. The combined field output circuit and pincushion correction circuit arrangement claimed in claim 1 of parent Specification is modified by having the tuning capacitance in parallel with the deflection coils and the separate coil in series with the parallel combination. With this arrangement the capacitance provides a low impedance path shunting the high impedance deflection coils and acts as a by-pass element for the line frequency thus reducing the sensitivity to cross-talk between the deflection coils.
