Abstract

1,255,281. Wire mesh fencing. GOODALL'S PATENTS Ltd. 17 March, 1970 [19 March, 1969], No. 14354/69. Heading E1B. A joint between adjacent wire mesh nets 10 and 11 comprises a narrow strip of wire mesh 14 bent over at 15 to define opposed limbs on opposite sides of the fence held together by bolts and nuts 16 passing through apertures therein and through the fence mesh and clamping plates 16, the ends of the horizontal wires 12 being bent around the edges of the strip 14. For a joint on sloping ground, the ends 18 of the horizontal wires are successively cut off.
