Abstract
1,270,582. Fence posts. BEKAERT S.A. N.V. 7 May, 1969 [7 May, 1968], No. 23278/69. Heading E1B. A fence post p2 comprises three metal sections 1, 11 and 12 held together by bolts 6 passing through holes (4) in mating pairs of flanges 2, 3, 13 or 14. In other embodiments a part may comprise two identical sections 1 or 4 identical sections 11 and 12 and the V-section portion between the flanges may be U or arcuate section. A part of 5 or more sections is also disclosed. Holders for the wire mesh of wire mesh fencing or other fencing members are clamped between the abutting flanges. Base of post may be bolted onto a member projecting from ground, or may be formed to a point to be forced into ground.
