Abstract

1,156,944. Assembling boilers. PRINCES INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT CO. Ltd. 6 Oct., 1966 [18 Nov., 1965], No. 44593/66. Heading F4A. Boiler sections 1C, 2C, 3C are erected in turn on to a metal base-plate 9 which is bolted to a concrete bed, by having fastening members 5 at the lower ends of their supporting framework secured by keyed steel spindles (not shown) to upstanding fastening members 6 on the base-plate. The boiler section is then pivoted about the steel spindles to an upright position, and secured by having further spindles inserted through further fastening members 7, 8 of the framework and base-plate respectively. Adjacent boiler sections are then mechanically and hydraulically interconnected.
