Abstract

1,255,279. Hand coating appliances. DOW CORNING CORP. 16 Dec., 1969 [8 Jan., 1969], No. 61132/69. Heading B2L. A nozzle for attachment to the discharge nozzle of a dispensing tube comprises a head 13, a neck 15 and a base 17, the base having two perpendicular surfaces 31, 33 which will fit into a corner of a workpiece a third plane surface 37, a bore 25 which passes through the head, neck and base and meets the surface 37, and a groove 39 in front of the opening of bore 25. The inclined surfaces have ribs or fins 35 to clean the work before the coating is applied. The nozzle may be moulded from polyethylene or polytetrafluoroethylene.
