1,251,073. Securing pulleys on shafts. JOSEPH LUCAS (INDUSTRIES) Ltd. 8 April, 1969 [18 April, 1968], No. 18307/68. Headings F2Q and F2U. A V-pulley 17 is secured on a drive shaft 12 by a sleeve 13 and nut 15 on the end of the shaft, internal coned surfaces on these members engaging the external surfaces of conical flanges 18, 19 formed around the pulley opening. The pulley consists of dished pressings 17a, 17b welded together.
