Abstract
PURPOSE:To accurately set an upper limit value of transmission torque in a limiter, by urging a pressing disc with a spring and pressing a power transmitting pulley through roullers to a flange face with said pressing disc. CONSTITUTION:A supporting cylinder 3 having a flange 2 is fixedly fitted to an input side transmission shaft 1 coupled to a motor, reduction gear, etc. A V- pulley 4 or the like is adapted to a flange face 2a and movably fitted to this supporting cylinder 3, then a pressing disc 5 only axially slidable is arranged in one side of the pulley. The power transmitting pulley 4 is constituted in such a manner that a plurality of rollers 6 are arranged to be fitted into an engagement hollowed part 7 in the pressing disc 5 and the pressing disc 5 is urged by a spring 17. When excessive torque is applied, the pressing disc 5 is axially pressed back, then the power transmitting pulley 4 is raced, thys a high accurate effect of torque limitation can be obtained.
